ANALOG MISSIONARY RE-EMERGES
05/21/19 (Silverhill, AL) Analog Missionary, a South-Eastern US-based art-rock band, will be performing select dates throughout the summer as they take their show on the road again after a lengthy hiatus.
The upcoming shows combine cinematic art-rock featuring unusual instruments and multi-media presentations. The Vermillion Magazine wrote, "Analog Missionary is like no band you've ever seen–orchestral/progressive rock that doesn't blow your eardrums but blows your mind with music rich in substance, complete with belly dancing to keep all of your senses alive. " Utilizing unusual instrumentation such as cello, Artiphon, Theremin (a primitive synthesizer that does not require physical contact with the instrument) and Chapman Stick (a multi-range stringed instrument combining the range of a 5-string bass and a 7-string guitar) and world-music influences, the band brings a unique experience to the Gulf Coast.
Their 3rd full-length album, ARC, is available at all streaming and download providers, and physical CDs may be offered in the future. Another album will follow later this year. The first live performance of this “Reemergence Tour” was filmed by famed director JB Lawrence, whose work is featured in RollingStone.com and Guitar Magazine. Videos, songs, lyrics and merchandise can be downloaded or purchased at their
